Do you translate documents?
My primary focus is interpreting. I can provide sight translation of short, simple documents when they are directly connected to an interpreting assignment.
How far in advance should I book?
The more notice the better, especially for medical procedures, legal appointments, or meetings that require preparation. If you have a last minute request, feel free to ask; I will help whenever I can.
Do you interpret remotely?
Yes. I offer both phone and video interpreting. Remote sessions can be a good option for brief consultations, follow up visits, or when travel is not practical.
Which areas do you serve for on-site appointments?
I am based out of Queens, New York and serve the surrounding areas.
Is everything we discuss confidential?
Yes. I follow professional codes of ethics for interpreters, including strict confidentiality and accuracy. Information shared during an assignment is not discussed outside of that context.
How do I know if I need an interpreter?
If language barriers may affect communication between parties, having a professional interpreter helps ensure accuracy and reduces misunderstandings, especially when important information or decisions are involved.
